　　1、dare用作實(shí)義動(dòng)詞時(shí)，有時(shí)態(tài)和人稱(chēng)的變化，用do， does或did來(lái)構(gòu)成否定句或疑問(wèn)句。

　　2、dare作“敢”解時(shí)，指“勇敢”，含有大膽、魯莽、愛(ài)冒險(xiǎn)，或因愛(ài)慕虛榮而甘冒生命或受懲罰的危險(xiǎn)的意味，后面通常接動(dòng)詞不定式，有時(shí)可省略不定式符號(hào)to。一般不用于進(jìn)行體。

　　3、dare還有“激某人做難辦的事”的意思，即問(wèn)某人敢不敢(或能不能)做某事，暗示他不敢(或不能)，其后接以動(dòng)詞不定式充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的復(fù)合賓語(yǔ)，不定式中的to一般不省略。

　　4、dare還可作“冒險(xiǎn)，面對(duì)危難而不畏懼”解，直接接賓語(yǔ)，這是不常見(jiàn)的用法。

　　5、dare的過(guò)去式是dared，但多用于正式語(yǔ)體，口語(yǔ)中少見(jiàn)。
