I always dream about returning to the past. As many people say, childhood is the happiest and easiest time in one s life.
Children show you their true emotions. They know what is compassion and what is tolerance better than adults. In their world, all real thoughts are presented. They may easily have different opinions with others, but they never understand what is animosity. They enjoy making friends but they never think about making social communication net. Every child talks from the bottom of his heart without evil plans hidden and never intrigues against each other. Only in children s way can adults make our life simple, more real and more enjoyable.
I wish everyone s heart would keep as innocent and lovely as they ever did in their childhood. Then, the walls between our hearts can be broken down and the world would be a better place to live in.
Last week our music teacher taught us a song, named Indebted Heart. Through it I know that we should live with a thankful heart. At that time, I think of my parents. I think they are the first people I should thank. It s them who give me life. It s them who give me home. It s them who bring me up. It s them who look after me. It s them who teach me knowledge and live happily. I should thank my parents giving me so much. Maybe I should think how to pay back the love my parents give me. But now I think the best way to be appreciated of my parents is to study well and then being a useful person to the society when I grow up.
As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life. I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction. I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That s the real communication of heart to heart. I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.
Do you see the glass as half-full rather than hall empty? The two different answers to the question represent two different attitudes towards life -- optimistic attitude and pessimistic attitude.
Optimism always leads to happiness, health and success while pessimism, by contrast, results in hopelessness, sickness and failure. That s because optimists and pessimists deal with the same challenges and disappointments in very different ways. When things go wong the pessimist tends to blame himsell, while the optimist looks for loop holes. The optimist feels in control of his oval life. If things are going badly, he acts quickly, looking for solutions, forming a new plan of action, and seeking for advice. On the contrary, the pessimist yields to the arrangement of fate and moves slowly. He doesn t seek advice, since he assumes nothing can be done.
Most people are a mix of optimism and pessimism. Optimism is important in all aspects of our lives. If you can change your mind from pessimism to optimism, you can change your life.
As we know, students should learn how to get on well with others. But how? First of all, we should respect others. Everybody has their own way to do things, so we should understand each other. Besides, it s important for us to communicate with each other and share our happiness and sadness. What s more, we should be kind to others and offer necessary help to those who are in trouble. If we live in the school s dormitory, we should be careful not to disturb others. Don t bring friends back to the dormitory in the mid-night after all the roommates are sleeping. Or playing computer games with the music turn up so loud. Such behaviors will hurt the relationships between you and your roommates.
In my opinion, we should treat others in an honest ways and try our best not to disturb others. Do not offend others. Only in these ways can we get along well with the others.
